I listened to this song for the first time while sitting in an airport, about to leave a city forever after living in it for almost 2 years, a city I never knew before, didn't know a single soul from there; but in 2 years a city which gave me countless good memories & friends for life, a city which saw me stress out & cry nights after nights over career, relationships and what not, but the same city which celebrated some of my best moments with me. And at that moment, I couldn't help myself & broke down at the airport in front of numerous strangers, realising the fact that I may never set foot in the place so close to my heart. Memories are all that remain now, but it was truly the best of times. Thank you for this song, I don't think anything else could have reflected my emotions at the moment better than this beautiful song did.

A year ago i met a boy in my class. He was always quiet. He used to look at me from past 2 yrs and the looks he used to give was so scary. I was actually scared of the way he looks at me. Then we shared a great bond. I know that he used to like me and so do i after some times. He used to Make effort just to talk to me and everyone in the school were jealous of me. Then i catched feeling for him. Another girl had crush on her and he used to talk to me only. but i was so bitch that i used to teach him with her name and he used to hate it. I used to make him close to that girl just to make sure he is interested in me or not. We weren't dating but had good times together. My brother suggested me not to talk to him cause he said boy losses feeling onces girl gives so i stopped talking like he used to come and talk to me even after that but i used to ignore him and it was killing me inside even more. After few days he also stopped talking to me and i never talked to him. I have put effort in many relations but i didn't in this one even after knowing it could be worthit.Then we talked and our school ended its been more than 5 months we r connected but haven't talked to each other. I considered Hindi Music to be inferior than English Music, solely on the basis that Bollywood was pumping out the same bullshit music it's been pushing out for past couple of decades. Ehh, Bollywood was producing pretty good Hindi music until late 2010s. We had Ghazals, Classical Indian Music, more often then. We had independent bands like Silk Route, Euphoria, Agnee, Advaita, etc. What are you talking about? Now-a-days, yes, independent Hindi music artists are getting more recognization thanks to trashy Bollywood. But seems like you had very little knowledge about the Hindi music industry in the first place!

Takes a lot of self discovery and digging to explore the landscape that "Hindi" music is...an umbrella term covering ghazals (which are in Urdu), qawwali, regional music, classical Hindustani music, songs of the Burman and pre-Burman era, and so so much more, which makes "Hindi" music infinitely far superior to anything from the West. I am an avid fan of most bands, artists from the West and have grown up with them, but adulthood has let me appreciate what a gem of a culture South Asian music truly is, unparalleled by any other.
