Flood in sylhet Please bring this serious problem to the notiice of Minister for flood control and rehabilitation and our M.P Dr Momen.... We know sylhet division is always vulnerable to flood because the floods water from Assam and Megalaya flow through sylhet...besides rain fall in sylhet and Assam area is heaviest in the world...even though we noticed, government have no preparation to save the peoples and property.. we saw Assam Authority have their organised team to rescue and save peoples.. they have their Engine boats and trained teams with mobile phones.. they are rescuing peoples and taking them to safe places.. also supplying foods... But it is a matter of great concern Government completely ignored , have no planning to help the peoples of most vulnerable flood regions of the country.. government must learn from Assam, how they are prepared for flood rescue ... whereas there will be flood every year, Government must create a rescue team with necessary engines boats and accessories immediately. Also must take a program to dig the Rivers in the sylhet region. Otherwise peoples of this region will loss the crops every year which will affect the food products of the country ...
