Maya Ali has been in this industry for 13 years and throughout tv career she hasn’t ever given a super hit drama. Mann Mayal was her last hit at that time. Since her TV comeback she’s given back to back flops. If you look at her acting career she’s never given praise for her roles but rather criticised because of her acting skills. She’s got the looks and screen presence but she’s no Saba Qamar, Sajal Aly or Yumna Zaidi in acting. People will be annoyed because she doesn’t have that level of acting and isn’t a newcomer that people will overlook especially when you have one of the best writer-director combos. She’s getting good opportunities but isn’t deserving of them. We have better actresses than her and it’s proof because look at Mayas past dramas every one of them have been flops and she got no praise for her acting. No one watches her dramas anymore and it’s proof from trps and KZbin views. SMD is only a hit on KZbin for Wahaj not Maya.

It is a big flop 1- story is not even close to real world, women are more faithful than man, here women are villian. 2- Sadaf told every single character that she will not Mary Amar and than did it. Even Amar lost his trust during his brother’s illness. 3- turning point was when his brother was ill. 4- a loving couple got marriage now there is no drama any more. There can be misunderstanding but end of the day couple will manage. So that’s end of drama now. Hamsha wants to marry Bilal but she also spoil everything. Unnecessary hate and discomfort by Sadaf from Bilal is also stupid. Bilal is going beyond everything to support marriage of Amar and Sadaf, another nonsense level. Completely flop.. but I love Wahaj,s performance
