What’s more, when sunoh got into trouble with jojo’s ex, hye stood up for him and fought with him against jojos ex. He made sure to not show his feelings for jojo because sunoh liked her. He even tried to help them see each other after the accident. 4 years after the breakup he finally has the guts to admit his feelings to jojo and suddenly sunoh calls him a bastard as if a) he didn’t just say he’s moved on and b) he doesn’t have a gf rn. So who’s the bad friend here?

Sunoh was a good friend, he cared about hyeyeong til the end. I wish hyeyeong gave sunoh the love and care he deserved.. okay so i know i wasn't clear enough but what i mean is that at the last few episodes you could see sunoh actually grew up and let go of his past and realize his mistakes. i think when they talked hy should've listened to him cuz it was obvious sunoh cared about him so much. i gotta agree sunoh was selfish and kinda manipulating but i believe his character development was pretty clear. i still think sunoh was a good friend as someone who didn't have a loving family or more than one friend. but i gotta say that i was wrong when i said hy wasn't a good friend, in his point of view he did the best for himself and i respect that. they were both immature at the first but i wished that they could've been there for each other at the end. i am actually sad they didn't get to make up.

Sun Oh kisses Hye Young’s crush knowing that’s his crush, then kisses her again when she is HY’s girlfriend, he abuses the statement that HY gives him about ‘never being able to hate him’ and yet HY should have cared and loved him more? @@candy6265 I know what he did to jojo was wrong and i'm glad he didn't end with her cuz it would be stupid tbh but the thing you cant see from what i said is; i didn't talk about jojo, i only mean that sunoh was a good friend cuz he cared about hy, when he wanted to talk and save their friendship hy didn't let him talk. i never said what sunoh did was right but you should be able to see his character development, he was cared by nobody yet he cared about hy so much that he was able to let her go.. thats my opinion and if you dont think the same i respect that, but i believe the ending was the best they could've ever have

@@didemmd I didn’t say anything about jojo, I’m talking about hy. By kissing jojo both times, he disrespected hy and showed the value of his friendship to him. When did sun oh try to save the friendship but hy didn’t let him talk? At the end of season 1 sun oh makes hy choose between himself and jojo. In season 2, sun oh starts talking about “I met jojo yesterday. Aren’t you going to ask why I met her again?” Did sun oh ever tell hy that he went and kissed jojo AGAIN? No, because sun oh is the same selfish person he was in high school. Sun oh had 0 character development. He was still running after jojo in season 2, he once again kissed her knowing she has a boyfriend, like he did in season 1. He once again continues to tell her “you like me! You have to like me!” Like he did in season 1. Honey letting Jojo go wasn’t sun oh’s character development. He had no choice because she didn’t like him back. If he continued to hang around her and obsess over her while she had a boyfriend and liked someone else, he would have proven to be the most toxic second lead. Only yuk joo and hy had character development because they both walked away from people that took their feelings and sincerity for granted.

@@candy6265 suho matured in the last episode. He accepted that his relationship with jojo was only a thing of the past. And that from now on, he was going to fend for himself and improve. And give a chance with his girlfriend for loving her. He has problems controlling his emotions and he is impulsive, but the main thing is that he improves at the end of the story, even if he makes me want to bang my head against a wall when he is stubborn and doesn't care about the consequences of his actions

@@mewpaw2054 Sun Oh’s real character development would have been him going back to Yuk Joo only after figuring himself out, sorting out his family issues, resolving his attachment issues (because looking at it from a psychological perspective, that’s what it was) as well as his impulsiveness and anger issues. Now that I think about it, there’s a lot of things Sun Oh didn’t resolve in his life, he just made his breakup with Jojo the centre of his attention which caused him to turn a blind eye to everything else. In season 2 he ran to Jojo as soon as Yuk Joo broke up with him, and then ran back to Yuk Joo when Jojo said she doesn’t like him. He hops from person to person looking for love but he hurts the people that care for him in the process. He didn’t like Yuk Joo romantically, but he was comfortable around her which is why he went back to her in the end. In real life this is called a rebound and would cause serious issues in the relationship later on.
