I first started listening to Sun Ra in the late 80s, when I was in high school. Every few years, I find myself returning to his ouevre, discovering new works and developing a deeper understanding of his music and philosophy. Miraculous that he ever existed.

True master musician that I’ve never seen before his wisdom and understanding is superior to anything that I’ve ever come across.Nor Bob Marley or even Fela Kuti comes close to Mr Ra way of thinking or articulating intelligence.
