I am *so* happy to hear Sun say, "Maybe I don't need you, but I *want* you." When he first lost Moon, so long ago, he wasn't afraid because, "Who's going to stop Eclipse now? We need Moon's intellect!" he was *heartbroken* because, "My own brother doesn't remember me anymore, I just wish you could remember our bond." I hate that Nexus's awful guilttripping and weaponization of his unspoken problems had gotten to Sun. I'm not surprised but I *hate* it, because all it was, was Nexus deflecting responsibility for not being an *adult* and talking about his emotions when he *should have.* He shouldn't have kept it all hidden only to bring those problems to light when he could use them to tear Sun down, make him feel guilty and make him feel terrible. Sun isn't perfect but he was a far better brother than Nexus *ever* deserved. Hearing Solar get upset when Moon said everyone didn't need him hurt- especially when Solar started trying to say *why* he likes Moon. It was so sweet but painful because he was genuinely distraught that Moon felt that way.

I realized Moon tends to underestimate his... emotional side. He claims he isn't good with emotional stuff, but then there he is comforting his brother and doing a good job of it. He stated he was bad with kids, but look at him and Dazzle, they get along wonderfully. I think the issue is Moon is lacking confidence in his emotional spectrum as well, and this doesn't know how to deal with it

Nexus was very likely self projecting on you the expectations he initially put on himself. Sun did everything he could to make their lives better, but Nexus ultimately chose this for himself. I understand that that's very sad, I liked Nexus very much myself. He was really sweet and caring in his beginning. And it's heartbreaking that he chose the wrong path. And it's kind of ironic how Nexus's fall from grace ultimately helped the family to become stronger... Solar finally found his place in the family, Moon got a second chance to be with his brother again, and Sun gets the family he deserves.

I'm glad they are letting Sun vent to them and how Sun has regret of offing Nexus since he was once the brother he carved for. Poor Sun. He probably can't go to a real therapist one who is trained to sort out such chaos because he'd have to explain so much out to the therapist who didn't know him or Nexus to understand it all. How it lead to Sun having to off someone he still considered a brother even though others had disowned him by then. Yet it's robot on robot violence! So if Sun did get a professional therapist to help him through this part of his life, it's likely the therapist (most likely a human) wouldn't report Sun's crimes shared in therapy sessions since the victims were robots (Evil Eclipse, BloodMoon, and Nexus). The animatronics are out of the reach of human laws so Sun wouldn't get punished for it since robots are property, no more than objects legally. And that even though they didn't have any owners, there's no one who would press charges for those deaths. Sun would just need help sorting his traumas out. And hopefully a therapist could do that even if it's unlike any client they ever had before.

And thats the difference between Sun and Nexus. Sun doesnt NEED a Moon, but despite every terrible thing hes been through, he wants one. Because he wants his brother, regardless of what brother that may be. Nexus could have chosen them the same way he chose Sun the first day he woke up. He couldve chosen to be a part of this family. But he didnt. It was never about what Nexus could do, what he could build or what he could fix. In fact, im willing to bet Sun (at least at the very beginning) was under the impression that hed never be able to rely on Nexus' knowledge cause he didnt HAVE any upon reset. Im willing to bet Sun accepted that Nexus wouldnt be the "smart one" and that HED have to fill that role. It was never about what he could or couldnt do. Sun just loved his brother, history or not. It might even be something that sets him apart from other Suns because instead of being stuck with his brother just because of their history, he chose to take on a whole new Moon. A whole new family member. Sun doesnt need Moon. Solar never needed a Moon. But they chose Nexus then and they choose OG now. They love him even if he cant yet really love himself. They want him and that means so much more than if they needed him. Also OG maybe apologize for snapping at Solar. That wasnt cool. Im so happy Solar was also able to come and not only be a quiet support for Sun, but a more vocal and blunt one for Moon. May want to apologize to Lunar too. You were kinda rude. Least Lunar doesn't take Moons shit. Hes been here long enough to straight up not care about Moons annoyed ranting anymore. Still though Moon, at least acknowledge you were rude. This was just a thought in my head but I was thinking about how moon was the only one freaking out when sun left. Solar and lunar felt like he was fine and moon was freaking out because the last time he saw sun leave while in a bad state of mind, sun had left to kill eclipse, had already killed bloodmoon, and ended up destroying the magic pool killing moon. Sun snapped the last time he was left alone and wasn’t here to see sun recover and mature. All his mind knows is. “Sun can’t be left alone.” I just found that interesting.

Wether that be from silliness, happiness, or sadness. It may be because I relate to him so much. But he always has been my favorite character. Him and Earth remind me of my relationship with my sister. Him and Dazzle remind me of me and my Niece. Him and sun remind me of me and best friend. (Me being moon in all the examples). And I may try is method one day! I don’t live next to the ocean but I can say them to myself or shout across the house when I’m alone! I’ll edit this comment if it worked or if I tried it!

“I’m not needed” (-Moon) Erm actually 🤓👆in the episode were it’s titled “One will die” Moon is very much needed when Nexus (Before he died) trapped Sun and Solar by making them sit with commands Moon jumps in and Punches (Or maybe kicks?) Nexus which frees Solar and Sun ☀️ 🌙
