Graphs depicting wealth in society used to go in a diagonal illustrating the poor at one end and gradually rising up through skilled people, doctors etc to arrive at a summit of the wealthy. Now they sort of flatling for 98% of the graph then shoot straight up out of site.

Here's something I noticed when Sunak responded to that call, which I don't think you or anyone else has picked up on and which I've definitely not heard being checked up on yet - Sunak said that he and his wife have _other help_ with raising his two kids. Go to the LBC video (on youtube) to timestamp 9m40. This is my transcription of what I heard him say: "Look, I can't imagine how difficult your job is, right. I'm... I've got two kids as well and I... have, you know, them as well as my wife and other help with us, so... y'know, enormous admiration for what you're doing and it sounds like you're working your socks off to, eh, look after them, so... um, tribute to you. Feels like something of a slip of the tongue there. So he and his wife have "other help" - which I take to mean a nanny, au pair or child minder of some description, though I admit it could just as easily be members of family (e.g. grandparents) assisting with childcare duties. Is there another datum there from which to draw on how completely fucking out of touch he is with the reality?

I bet he's claiming for the 'nanny' in some form................

We have one of the oldest democracies yet nothing has changed in centuries. We do have a few more treats, possibly cars, holidays, pension, a home instead of cake etc, although the treats are becoming less obtainable by increasing numbers of people on an industrial scale.

Where I disagree with Dalia is on her opinion that he is too rich. Placing a cap how much money one can have anti aspirational BS. With regards his wife’s shares , they are in an Indian company and as far I’m aware the country has not sanctioned Russia.

This is our own fault. We continually vote in those that don't live like us, so they will always put big business before the people they are meant to serve because they benefit/profit too. It's time for a new world order. Politics can not sustain continually hurting the people for profits. We, the people, have given our power to the 1%, and it's time to change.
@IAmAStepaholic2 жыл бұрын
@@stephenstrange4239 how so as I thought it doesn't matter how many people vote the candidate with the highest votes wins. So to me that doesn't make any sense. Wouldn't be better to have people running with common sense and have lived like the everyday person to be a candidate? Stop allowing those who work for us to continually take the p*ss and get away with it. If the governing body themselves isn't going to do anything then we need to by voting them out. Unfortunately, for the time beng we have to work with the system that bows to the 1% but change has to happen and only we can do it.

Jealous - feeling or showing an envious resentment of someone or their achievements, possessions, or perceived advantages. I think that hits the nail on the head.
