Sunbeam Tiger 60 New Trailer

The new Trailer for the upcoming 2024 Tiger documentary now features the Tiger story told from both sides of the Atlantic. Ex-Shelby American staffers, Jay Leno, and leading Shelby author, Preston Lerner, now join the likes of Rosemary Smith, Peter Procter and Baron Rootes to tell the Tiger's tale from the Sunshine State to the Mulsanne Straight, to Monte Carlo and beyond with the help of rare, famous and fantastic Tigers.

My uncle had a Sunbeam Alpine and I know it didn't have a V8. But man was it fun to ride in.

@@mjh5437 I can see that. The wind blowing through that car was deafening at highway speeds. I was a kid then but it felt like we were going 100 mph while actually doing about 60mph. A woman with a fancy hairdo wouldn't want to ride in those cars. But hey the Vega was a POS too until you put a V8 in it too.

I've always been a fan of Tigers, about 15 years ago I wanted a small car/V8 combo and Tigers were already too pricey for me, so I built a custom chassis/suspension, SBC (400hp), 4-speed MGB--hard to beat a small, light (2350lb) car with a V8, Tigers were definitely ahead of their time

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime (BABVVEN, TEBBVEN and SCHLABOUBVEN laws)
