+Bizmah Hafiz It is in a series of short stories called 'Tales of the Shadowhunter Academy', and if you are interested in further reading aside the prequel series 'The Infernal Devices,' and 'Lady Midnight,' there is another short story seried called 'The Bane Chronicles,' which is the short written memoir of events in Magnus' life that he hands to Alec Lightwood describing some of the important events in his life that shaped him so that Alec could get to know the warlock he loved.

Could you just tell me the plot of the bane chronicles and shadow hunter academy? I won't have time to read those series but it would be wonderful if you can tell me what happens in those books! OMG! Okay, after reading the Mortal instruments (and pay special attentiom to comments they make about the past centuries in the last three books and to the blackthorn and carstairs characters), then read the infernal devices trilogy, then the short story series The Bane Chronicles, then The Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy, and last but not least Lady Midnight, the first book in the Dark Artifices sequels to The MortaI Instruments. I believe the first book in the sequels to the Infernal Devices trilogy will come out before the second Dark Artifices book, I think both trilogies are meant to be read together back to back.

Between Clary, Jace, Alex, Simon, and Maureen, I wonder how long it's going to take to see a real, true blue happy couple. Does every single character have to have unrequited feelings for someone or just plain not admit what's already in front of everyone's face? I can't wait for Alex and Magnus to happen. Now watch somehow Jace will not be happy about that, even though he has no right, maybe it's his selfish jerkish vibe and risking everything for Clary, someone he just met, but Jace really gets on my nerves, and so does everyone on this show that is too clueless to see someone that's in love with them, but other than the frustrating romance aspect, I'm loving this show.

They make Clary look like a total b for not only not seeing Simon's feelings, but totally trying to kick it with Jace every chance she gets when she knows that Alec is suffering. ***** Yes, you know obviously I meant to say Clary and Jace. Yeah, I was pissed but now I'm less pissed because Magnus and Alec are finally getting the attention that Jace and Clary are getting, and they're going into the histories of the characters, the later episodes definitely have a better flow that I think you'll like. Did you see Jace's face when he saw Alec and Magnus holding hands, sharing his magic? I could swear for a second that Jace was going to snatch Alec up and tell Magnus to go get his own Parabatai, lol!!! Jace is one of those guys that needs a harem to constantly stroke his ego, you can tell by the stuff he says to Simon when they are walking in what appears to be the most dangerous part of town I've ever seen. I really liked the 6th episode, and they even went in a direction that the movie Mortal Instruments didn't go. Have you seen the movie, and the most recent episodes? It's fun to compare the movie and the show, and they used a lot of the same material from the book, so I know some lines by heart now. I was saying to myself, 'Self, why are you so interested in this young adult urban horror, or whatever genre it is?' My answer was simple, because this show had diverse characters, of color, lgbt, right off the bat, and I didn't have to wait for 4 seasons for my patience to pay off (Walking Dead, I was practically living off the fumes of my love of the show before it started looking and sounding like people I hang out with all the time, around seasons 4-6, even though it's written well, which is what really counts). Also, Cassandra Clare said she didn't design this to be originally for teens, which is why I fell so hard into the show, because no one's in high school (not counting the high school drama they clearly have, lol). What made you like the show? Did you just up and start watching it, or did you see the movie and read the books? I've only done the movie and the tv, haven't found time to even look at a book.

Wouldn't it be wild if she thought they were teenagers or early twenties and it turned out they were a hundred or more years old? Malec? That's such a sweet couple name, and I love all the characters on the show, but I usually hate the star, because it all revolves around her, but I feel for her because her mother should've told her this mess. I didn't like any of the actors in the movie except for Magnus, Clary's father, Simon, and Clary's mother because they were either extremely hot and/or were the best actors, lol and Clary and Jace were looking way too thin, but I did enjoy Jace's snark in the film. You listened to audio? How long did that take? I have mad respect for you taking the time to do that instead of reading the book. I will try it. I've got to find the first book, there are so many.

***** Alec is indeed beautiful and they take the time to develop him. In the movie, they barely make anything clear about him or any characters that aren't Clary, Jace, or Valentine. After watching the show I now really like Simon, Alec, Magnus, Luke the werewolf. I even like Simon's friend Maureen, because she's in the same boat as Alec is because she has unrequited love for Simon. I feel for characters like Alec too, because I've had a parabatai, lol.
