The story of a village bred girl from a remote place in Andhra Pradesh, getting married to an NRI and going to USA. The turmoils she undergoes on the foreign land and how she gets back to India after many struggle form the crux of the story. This is the first south Indian Television Mega serial to be filmed at USA - Newyork and New Jersey for nearly 25 days. One of the block busters of the Telugu Television market, the serial has been dubbed in Tamil as “Sundarakandam” and “Ashokavanam” and has been telecast in tamil channels also.
