IMO imposter syndrome is normal & even healthy - it means there are still plenty of interesting challenges ahead in life. The opposite of imposter syndrome is worse. Like why am I constantly working on Excel spreadsheets or sql programming day & night? 😅

Thank you, Sundas. Even I'm a person who suffers from imposter syndrome. I was a student developer and was hired full-time by my manager over my friends who I thought were better programmers than me. They quickly completed the project, practically making me feel like they were wizards in programming. Recently, my manager mentioned that he hired me because I'm a very detail-oriented programmer who writes good code. I suffered from this for many years, which made me give up many opportunities. However, I'm slowly gaining experience and building confidence to face my future goals.

I am going through the exact same thing after my recent promotion to a Manager role. I keep wondering why in the world the HM selected me and that they are going to realize soon I am a fraud. I am 5 months in as a financial analyst. I have this because I stumble over my work all the time and my body language is off, and I can feel it! Plus, I am the only Hispanic. I feel off. Now I am in my master's program. I had a terrible GPA as an undergraduate. I overwork and over-study. I want to prove to myself I can do it.
