Sunday Drive to the East Side of Am. Samoa - American Samoa and Samoa Trip 2022 - 3rd Day

Welcome to our 3rd day in American Samoa! (December 2022) On this rainy Sunday morning, we drove out to the East side of the island - through Pago Pago, Satala, Leloaloa, Aua, Lauli'i, past Camel Rock, Avaio, Auto, Amaua, Faga'itua, Alofau, Amouli, Auasi, Tula, and back. It is an absolutely gorgeous drive, with so many beautiful beaches and villages. After the drive, we picked up our To'ona'i/ from Paradise Restaurant in Pago. Later that evening, we stopped in Nu'uuli for one of the Christmas shows (which we didn't get on video). We tried to post some video from all the villages we passed. Mose grew up with a family in Am. Samoa but they were from Solosolo. The last name is Toimoana. Mose’s dad was a faifeau in the village of Fagali’i Samoa, so they got to go and visit that family in Solosolo when they were kids. We didn’t get there this trip but maybe next time! No, WG, unfortunately, we just went to the beginning of Leone and visited Mose’s stepfather in Malaeloa (that video is up from our 2nd day in AS). We didn’t get a chance to go that way because we were too busy and headed to Samoa. Hopefully we will be back and can visit your beautiful side of the island later this year. Much alofas!
