Welcome, Announcements & Worship Theme
CALL TO WORSHIP:
We gather for worship as those in search of greater faith.
We struggle with doubt all too often in our personal lives and in our relationships.
We gather for worship as those in search of greater hope.
We struggle with uncertainty in our future, with what’s happening in our world and with how many things will affect our lives and the lives of those we care about.
We gather for worship in search of growing ever deeper, more resilient, persistent and enduring love.
We struggle with resentment, petty irritations, blame, guilt, reactivity, frustration and defeat.
All: Come to us as we worship you, O God. Raise us up and fill us with the kind of faith, hope and love that can truly bless the world around us in such a time we are living.
*Hymn: Not for tongues of heaven’s angels No. 627
Prayer of Approach, Confession & The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven;
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil;
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
The Peace of Christ be with you all;
And also with you
