You have tapped into an area where the church has been starving to be fed. The modern trend of choruses and "worship songs" has supplanted the traditional hymns but I promise you that there is a tremendous and unquenchable thirst for the old hymns old the faith.

Well my take on it is that there will always be people of such low self esteem that their best effort at being productive is to smear disgrace where ever they go. It gives them a sense of purpose. It is a sad state to be in and we really need to pray for them.

I really enjoyed you and Kennon Renfrow playing together , what a blessing , and a demostration of God's gift , to the both of you . I remember Kennon's mom and dad singing together often at our church ( Tabernacle Baptist Church ) in Wilson NC . Kennon and I both graduated from Wilson Chistian me in 1972 , and Ken much later . I love listening to these hymns being played and don't mind how may times I hear these old hymns - they do mind and soul good! I was brought up on them, but sadly they are not sung in our UK church today. However, I take away lists of these hymns and sing them with my lovely Mum who now has dementia, but loves to sing them with me. Thank you Natalie and Josh!

Natalie, I just love to hear you play. My husband of 49 years passed away early last year after a 10 year battle with cancer. I have to say one of the things I miss most about him is his beautiful piano playing. He had a wide and varied taste in music but he expressed himself with his playing, particularly the old hymns. His favourite was It is well with my Soul which we sang at the thanksgiving service for him. I am watching from Sydney Australia.

Lindsey, so TRUE. My late brother-in-law used to say every church he visited was a 7-11 church. "Why 7-11?" I asked. "'Cause they sing the SAME 7 words or phrases over and over, 11 times! And they call it 'Praise' or 'Worship' music!" Succinctly stated!

Welcome back Natalie and Josh! I certainly missed you last week... But what you do each week is a huge commitment and it's important that you take a break from time time to time, lest you wear yourselves out! Natalie was a little quiet to start with, but the volume on her mike was better when she raised it. Josh, you were fine and the piano tone and volume were really good, as is the video quality.
