With a single stroke and that much thunder, I'm thinking that was probably a positive strike. But I'm pretty sure all nearby strikes cause loud thunder.

Hard to say of course, but there was definitely a lot of energy, as we could also feel it at about 1000 feet. We immediately checked the cameras to see where it hit, and then drove by to make sure there was no ongoing fire.
