Many thanks, as always, for the great insights. I watched the first three series of 'The Boys' and, although definitely a unique superhero show, instinct tells me that I've had my fill, as it's essentially the same tricked played over; just my opinion, of course, and I hope you continue to enjoy it. Can't wait for House of the Dragon but I'm entirely undecided on whether to watch episodically or wait and binge; I did the latter with Game of Thrones (when it was decent!!) and was definitely the better for it. The Acolyte might ultimately have the same effect on the watcher as staring into the abyss, but I entirely respect your reasons, and hope you make it back unscathed. Thanks again and all the best for now. Paul

Hi Paul, thanks for the comments, apologies for the delay in response! I'd be too worried about hearing spoilers when it comes to HOD but I can definitely see the benefits of binging having to wait a week is a killer! As you'll see from this weeks video I've walked away from The Acolyte my brain cells can't take it...... The Boys hasn't gone so far off the boil that I want to stop watching i think there's only one more season left so may as well see it out now! Take care A

@@atomicblondeldn8795 Thanks for the reply and no worries about the delay. I've actually started watching House of the Dragon episodically and must admit that, due to the rollicking good start it's got off to, I'm glad I did; even the lengthy political scenes are so compelling, and it's by far the best thing on TV by a country mile. Also, I'll probably binge watch the latest series of The Boys after all, as, in addition to your review, a couple of friends have told me that it's hitting the mark again. In light of us both liking Fallout, there's another similarly-themed show called Twisted Metal, which I found to be equally good, which is available on Amazon Prime. Cheers Paul
