You truly are butterfly whisperer, you have them just landing on you! Katana is in agreement with the more pink diagnosis, she said “I love pink!” I’m still in love with your hollyhocks!! Oh my lort, that fennel is HUGE!! it knows it has a lot of butterflies to attract! The snail in your garden have the coolest shaped shells! 🐚 lol about being Thomas as a disciple 😂 I’m in the same category of doubting gardener! I love the idea of your butterfly fostering program! Your zinnia and tithonia area is just magic!! Everything is so full full full and so full of color!! The butterflies understood the assignment for the party and were putting on a show, I cannot belief so many were there putting on a full ballet production! All the food looks so cute and scrumptious! The party setup is so darling! Wow that butterfly you released was huge!! Thank you for sharing your experiences and plants!!

What a magical day in your garden - but I have to say, God's garden did a little better with his show stopping dance of the butterfly presentation. I think you need to plant a bunny tail in the Peter Rabbit garden since just one tail is not enough. LOL I can't wait until next week to see the changes you get to make with all that time. I'm so happy for you.

Don’t you just love hairstreaks?? What a gift to have him visit you! I love their little stripey antennae! Those big bright zinnias are like a little welcome into the garden! The wooly thyme!! So sweet! I can not get over how full and amazing it all looks!!! Goodness! LOL ALLLL buddleas poop out on me! I mean….Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, DEAD😵 “Bless you my child!” 🤣 Same, girl. I love volunteer gomphrena! Oh, the mallow! So dreamy. I’ve gotta get some of that native phlox! Your dahlias are so pretty this year! You are the dahlia whisperer. I love that we both have “mosquito moments” WHILE filming! 🤣🤣🤣🦟👏😵 Ha! I’m always planting things that are going to be 30’ high right next to the fence. Yay for Pipevine!! I love your tiny garden! 💕 Oooooh. All your new trees! I need like a couple of extra acres just so I can grow all the trees I want. I bet your tea was wonderful! What a darling entrance and a delicious table! Your butterfly game is ON FIRE! I’ve never seen so many butterflies! I love how they occasionally buzz the camera. MAGICAL! One time I had a chrysalis come off of its stick, and so I made a tiny little pocket out of a paper towel and taped it to the side of a flower pot, and just barely tucked the chrysalis into the pocket, and it worked out fine. I think you put the end poking up that has the two little notches on it. Thanks for the beautiful and inspiring tour! ❤❤

You and your garden are so delightful Rachel 😊 and those butterflies were just beautiful to see. Yes, our gardens are at the same stage as your sister's, so you are cutting back the first flush, and we are still waiting for it to happen 😅. I've just finished planting out my dahlias and the annuals that I grew from seed. The Budleigh is just coming into bloom, and so too are the clematis, the borage the phacelia, the nasturtium, and I noticed yesterday that the camomille is coming into bloom. It's a very exciting time because I can't wait for the explosion of colour. Thanks for sharing your garden and your party. That food looked yummy, and I'm sure your guests were bowled over by the beauty of your garden. Enjoy your days off from work 😊

What a special treat to have a cloud of butterflies in your garden!!! 🥰 I had a couple of Gulf Fritillary butterflies show up today along with a Painted Lady. 😀 I finally placed an order for two passion flower vines and I hope they arrive soon. The butterflies knew exactly where to look for them, but unfortunately I have had no luck growing any this year. The coral nymph salvia seeds germinated but the plants are still quite small. I'm just glad that the critters haven't snacked on them. Our water bill was quite high this month. We need rain! 🙏🙏🙏

I was so thankful to have so many butterflies flitting around for the party! They were the ultimate decoration! LOL! - The food did turn out to be super yummy! AND I have found my new signature dish that I will bring to all events from now on…..a trifle. It took less than 20 minutes to assemble and it looked so good and tasted amazing! What’s funny is that my Mom recently gave her trifle dish to me and once she saw that berry trifle that I made she now feels that she needs to get another one. I offered to give it back to her, but she’s going to be on the hunt for one at thrift stores. The hunt is part of the fun. Haha!

Hey Rachel! Those butterflies love your zinnias. I hope they were still there for your party. I would seed that area full of zinnias every year since they seem to be attracted especially to the front. How exciting to see so many at one time. I devote a 4x6 raised bed every year to zinnias for this very reason. I get mostly eastern black swallowtails. So fun! What a beautiful table for the baby shower. (Baby showers are so special. Nothing like having a sweet little baby.❤) I tell ya, you can’t see many pots in your back yard now! Everything has really grown in & looks so good! Glad you got to show it off to everyone! We STILL haven’t gotten any rain here in our area. So sad! I can’t remember watering so much before. I went shopping at our local concrete statue place not more than 10 min from my house. I figure concrete doesn’t need watering & it won’t melt in this heat! lol I bought a concrete bunny with a basket (he’s about 18” tall x 12” wide with the basket.) I’m going to plant succulents in his little basket (they don’t need much water) & I bought a small seahorse & a pelican. (This will be my 2nd pelican. One sits & one stands.) Have a wonderful staycation & keep up the beautiful work you do in your garden. I enjoy it so much & appreciate everything you share. Hugs from very dry middle GA❤

LOL about the “jack in the beanstalk” fennel!!! Because truly I have never seen any grow that tall! It must be from magic beans. That’s the most logical answer! - I may also have some polydamas swallowtails, but I think most of those were palamedes because they had striped bodies. I’m gonna be on the lookout for polydamas. I have to admit that I have probably mistakenly called all my yellow and black butterflies Giant swallowtails. - Thank God that y’all are getting rain!!!!! Isn’t it such a relief?!?
