You should consider doing a M8 tutorial. I’d watch!

I rather would look at the limiter of the m8. No good "mastering" at all... but i i think its funny and cool as it is

Great patterns and throbby bass - I love the way the patterns interact with each other and how that kick drum sits in the mix! Very cool to see the M8 used with external gear. You need some rubber feet for your Nano!

boy do i oh my god at some point during the jam i was wondering if it would make a cool breakdown trick to send the pot all the way to the end of its range and then make the whole nanokey studio do a sick 360 on my table

I love it! unfortunately it requires a bit more gear for it to work well with m8 - I use the widi master by cme and it works pretty seamlessly

Is the nanokey studio bluetooth connected to the M8? I have the nanokey but I find hard to connect it to external gear as it has no mid out port.

@@vertigev Hi there! I actually found two ways to connect the nanokey studio to external hardware gear. First option, the cheap one. Connect the nanokey via bluetooth to an iPad, iPhone, Android or PC and use applications like AUM, or Audiobus to transform the notes into midi signal than send it to an external keboardo or groovebox using the usb cable to transmit the midi data. This only works with keyboards or hardware that have midi thru usb and that are Class Compliant with the Apple protocol. To use regular midi breakout cables you will need an audio interface with midi out. The SECOND option. Buy one device called midi host. It will take the midi notes from the nanokey studio via usb and convert it to midi out using the regular 5 pin midi cable.

On this particular rig that the video is showing I'm not completely sure whats happening. But I think @Space Town used the Nankey Studio connected via bluetooth to the m8 tracker to then be used as a mid hub to control other gear. I know that the m8 has midi out but I'm not sure it can handle midi via bluetooth connection. If not the M8, problably the nanokey is connected to the roland machine using a mini midi bluetooth device. One or the other.

Excellent tracking, but there are short high frequency clicks as the song is playing, is this intentional?
