Hello everyone! Welcome back to Sunday Night Music with Sciehash. This is the 2nd episode, and today we're going to talk about a song by Alan Walker and Emma Steinbakken titled Not You. First, let's talk about the artists. Let's be honest, who doesn't know Alan Walker? He's a DJ and Music Producer with remarkable musical signature. You've certainly heard of "Alan Walker Style" tracks, and maybe when you hear one of his music for the first time, you'll be able to spot it right away. Alan literally started to dive into Music Production since he was a teenager, and finally decided to drop out of school at the age of 17 to pursue a serious career in music. As the world can see, his hard work paid off. Emma Steinbakken herself is not less of an impressive talent either. She also started her singing career when she was a teenager. Fun fact: At the age of 16, she got interviewed by enftsterribles, and it's quite interesting. I've put the link to that interview in the description, and I think you should check it out.

We can go to as much therapy as we want, we can distract ourselves, we can find people who, some might argue, are objectively better for us than the ones we lost, but we will never forget the ones we lost. We will compare those around us. We will wonder what could have been. A part of us will always feel empty, lonely.
Next, there's one from Radio Call Me Fred, or abbreviated as CMF:
The song is about the protagonist feeling like he is living in a fantasy world where he makes up stories to avoid facing reality alone. He talks about a stranger who has entered his life but realizes that this person can never replace his former romantic partner who he still misses. In the end, he acknowledges that even though he has moved on, this new person can never be the same as his previous partner.
