Well, I am 73 and I can no longer sweep and mop at the same time or more than one room at a time because it can irritate my back. When I need to, I sweep (or vacuum) one room, at night right at bedtime (around 9:30 or 10) and then I mop at 6:30AM after my husband leaves for work and do the same the next day. It's a tougher to do a lot in one day at my age. Oh and I don't have a dishwasher, so I wash dishes every day after we have supper.

Hey Kelly! I've been watching you for years, always love your videos! FYI: you might want to trim your wicks on your candles before burning them. It will keep your flame lower, burn less soot, and actually make your candles last longer. The wick should be about 1/4" or so above the wax. Hope this helps =)

Great inspiration video Kelly - at 63 it takes me a lot longer to clean than it used to! Suggestion for your riser in your bathroom...buy some sticky-back felt pads and cut them to fit the feet of your riser - they will serve as a barrier between the wood and your tub plus you will hardly notice them. You are liking the Grandma Chic style, you could make a cute clothes pin bag from one of your daughters tops. Just sew the bottom closed and hang it on a clothes hanger. Fill with the clothes pins. Wonderful that your roof is done! Your little guy was so cute ❤️ 🦋

Hey Kelly! Great video! We are actually flying out Sunday to Anna Maria Island! We stay at our daughter’s condo. This is the first year we are going alone! Really looking forward to it. My dad passed away a couple of weeks ago after a long painful battle with cancer. This vacation is much needed. I use to put ours and our kids toothbrushes in the dishwasher. It never made us sick. Kelly you can cut the tips of the candle wicks off so they don't burn so high. Just snip the ball off the wick and your flames will be controlled. Hope this helps.

Just a few tips. Put parchment paper under your candle holder. You wont mess up your towel and it will dry faster. And drape your blankets all the way across the lines and you wont have to turn them over and they will dry faster.

So glad you changed the shower heads to hose ones, it definitely makes life easier, I have wanted to mention it a few times, but chickened out, lol You will love it when bathing doggies too, sooo much easier 👌. You could get a portable one for your tub too, just a plastic one that attaches to your faucet. It will make it so easy to rinse out your tub, and of course save your back, and your time ❤.

I remember when I was a kid we had clotheslines as well and my mother would always hand the comforters and sheets. She used to say they smelled like sunshine...good times. We’ve got extremely hard water where I live, I use the Lysol Lime & Rust toilet bowl cleaner for my tub/shower/sink and of course the toilet 😊 it’s amazing getting stains and the crusty hard water deposits off.

We use to have a bag on a hanger to hold clothespins. That way you could hang it on the line and reach in the bag as you needed clothes pins. You would scoot it down the line as you hung more clothes.

Always fantastic cleaning motivation, thank you so much 🦋🦋 At 25:40 when you've shown the aftermath of the overflowing trash can, I was hoping you would filmed while emptying it as I already find this quick chore so satisfying to see get done to feel the house is fresh again, when it's overflowing it's even more satisfying, plus the struggle to make no mess haha or just to be able to lift it sometimes for the kitchen one 😅 Also because I struggle so much to toss things like nicer paper clutter (magazines, clothes stores catalogues/flyers) or mostly any old clothes that can't be donated, so I always try to see if one of those things was discarded when it's filmed 🤭
