Gretchen I am NOT a morning person. Get, up, throw on clothes, take dogs out, feed dogs, chores (as you say on your side of the pond), all takes place in a fog of reluctantly relinquished sleep. Then I come across this version of St Francis. I have heard the song many times. For me it is a slow burner that has been more and more moving each time I listen. Today I had to down tools and just sit and listen - properly, which is what this rendition deserves. Thank you for a sublime start to the day.
