Just sold my Fireblade and bought a Thruxton R absolutely loving it the power is so useable and has enough power to still put a smile on my face, mind you I can just stare at it and it puts a smile on my face! 😂

Nice ride, I'm thinking of buying a Thruxton, but I'm on the fence if I should fork a bit more for the RS or stick with buying the R :\

Hmmm all I’m gonna say is the “RS” is a little quicker than the “R” model but let’s be honest they are the same bike just different colored lol, I wanted a Thruxton R ever since I seen them but I’m not done with sport bikes yet 😂

@@NudaMan yeah I might go for the R there is a 2020 used one with 500 Kms for 13k, a new RS is 18k and there are no used ones on the market in Portugal.

I probably would have been just as happy with the R... They are basically the same bike, just as enjoyable and the R is easier to decat if you want to. I haven't done that to my RS though.

get the R and add the supercharger kit, at that point the difference between the two is non existent

Love that sound... Got the Thruxton 1200 2019 (non R) All stock, also nice sound, but this is somehow more separated and open. Have fun :-)

Hi, no, it's not decatted, just slip on mufflers, which are weslake shorties

​@@knucklesmcqueen3647 - I decatted mine, and the rpm to speed difference (in same gears) was very noticeable.... especially as this frees up rpm for more eventual top end....the cat is like running a marathon with a pair of footy socks shoved in your mouth.... get it done you won't be sorry
