Perfect earrings for Sew Fruity! Excited for your vlog this week 😍 I find that cutting the strips and sewing them all together takes so long then the part on the bias tape maker is so speedy. So satisfying when you have the perfect binding though.

I'm glad I asked for it last year, I made sure he got a second hand one as 1/3 of the price. Will work on the vlog soon x

Ooh I think this is my new obsession and I don’t even have a machine! 😂. Perhaps it might be dangerous for me to get one, I too would be swamped with binding 🫣😂. Yes please to the binding machine vlog 😊

I got the bias binding machine for Christmas too and only used it a handful of times. I found the machine didn’t like the square method of making bias binding. I think it was too many seams going through. I love your width of your bias binding.

Hi Sam, another great vlog. whay will you use all the bias binding for. Quilters use double fold binding. x

Hi. I've already used two on the quilted jackets I'm making. I'm going to make some thinner binding for inside trousers.

Putting the binding on quilts is different to putting on clothes. I’m on a mission at the moment to use up fabric that is big enough to get a top out of, I’m using the Friday pattern company square neck top. I’ve also been using the free drop shoulder top pattern from Avid Seamstress, but omitting the sleeves, I think the neck is slightly lower than the LB pullover

Love your blog. Do you pre wash ribbing? If you have a small piece of remnant fabric for bias tape, do you pre wash?

Most remnants will have already been washed as I was everything (mostly) before it goes into my stash. Some of the items from my scraps mountain may not have been and we shall see what happens!!! Living on the edge, will report back.
