Is this goa tourism authority so irresponsible that it cannot draft simple regulations on limits of shack furniture from high tide line and enforce the same- with severe penalties for infringements.

i think the government will still be slow to solve the real issue... the local panchayat and police station should take action and remove all sunbeds and tables from the beach- tables inside the shack only- no sunbeds

Beach shacks must leave a clear space between high tide water line and their shack furniture of at least 6 meters for tourists and residents to enjoy the beaches.

Entire north belt has been sublet and hence wether it's the shacks or pubs in baga it's the same story.

Let tourism minister explain the beach shack policy if they are permitted to block the paths of tourists and public . If not what are the beach police inspector paid for ?

Security men for each shacks should be made mandatory compulsory through government registered security company by tourism department while allocating shack licenses. Security person will make sure safety of tourist by calling police to take immediate actions.

Dadagiri of locals with tourists ....be careful tourists are also Indians so same dadagiri will be shown ..tit for tat....Now law should take its own course ....No need to blame govt and Police everytime ....
