I know this place, and this is the first time that I can see all those details. The pattern of these quarries looks exactly the same as that of Longyou Caves in China. Longyou Caves is also a place that will blow people's minds that we still can't explain how the ancients could do this and who and when did this. Looking at these ancient sites all over the world that have obvious connections makes me believe there was definitely a civilization before us.

Almost identical surface finish to Longyou Caves as has been mentioned by lots of people. But this question is what struck me, where did it all go? I know in the case of Longyou Caves they don’t have that explanation yet. Anyone know?

I don't see the point of leaving extensive, precise and uniform excavation marks by hand, especially on the rock face of a quarry. I'm convinced they are a by-product of excavation by excavating machinery. I was born and raised near this quarry, but until now I had never seen or heard any info in the mass media mentioning the strange excavation marks at this quarry. Thanks to the internet, I have learned that in my country there were faint traces of a lost prehistoric civilization. Thank you for featuring this place, The Land of Chem!

The marks are from Liquid Mercury - they leave that residue on the rock. They then put a pool of mercury floating on the floor with a positive charge , then they line the bottom of the cut stone blocks with coating of liquid mercury with a negative charge - this then repels the stone from the ground - the negative charged mercury hits the postive charged mercury and creates a hoovering effect for the stone , if you have ever seen magnets then you would understand that its how it works. I have tried it and have moved 40 tons blocks around , its so easy , they just glide around.

my thoughts exactly. I'm about to do a search now to learn about different known quarrying methods. It seems to me that the horizontal marks are the result of the length of the cutting tool they were using ? 🤷♂️ They certainly seemed to have no trouble cutting stone very quickly in ancient times. That's the impression that I get. It sure seems to suggest a technique that has been lost to time, just like those cart-rails suggest an unknown method of transport.

Yonaguni had to have been in operation prior to 11.6 thousand years ago and likely older than 14 ka at which point sea levels rose over 150 meters for unexplained reasons. Graham Hancock has just shown two papers giving evidence for excessive atmospheric heavy metals at ca 14 ka. Albedo disruption caused by this dust in turn precipitated meltwater pulse 1A I suspect.

Great video! You have discovered something for the megolyythic mania people that most did not have a clue. But are you sure those first excavations were done by the original Qurarriers? And when do they say that those original quarries occurred? Its been mentioned a few times here but those marks you attribute to ancients look very much like modern mining excavations. The issue on those marks in modern excavations are that they are chewing out rocks into debris for mining purposes, not quarrying. Gold mines, copper mines etc use this machine to make ore to refine to get the mineral content that they are looking for in the stone. It is hard to see how it would be efficient or practical to leave those wavy, shallow scoop marks for removing a solid piece of granite. Regardless if it was ancient or modern. Are you sure there wasn't any ore mining in this area for minerals locked in this stone? I am a mechanical engineer and quite familiar with hard rock mining. But what perplexes me the most are the straight, right angles opening left in the parent bed rock some times many feet above. And the square blocks taken out of bedrock leaving a perfect right angle box hole. There is no way modern quarrying would do that and I have to wonder why even ancient quarrying would do so unless they are using some completely unknown technology and it was not a big deal to them. Otherwise it would be a complete waste of effort.
