Real Ryan Rocks! hehe Well based on an experience driver from manual to automatic. Right now I'm driving a Veloz and hindi talaga yan mag start after you turned off the engine from D (Drive). Same as you seen on the video you need to shift it back to P (Park) why? It's logic kasi na ibalik mo sa P when you need to start the engine. If you can start with D then that is not safe because may chance na umandar yung sasakyan mo coming from traffic at mabangga mo pa yung sasakyan sa harap mo, that's why it's a safety protocol to put it on P when starting the engine as always.

The reason we shouldn't shift into Neutral at traffic lights is to prevent driveline shock. Most traffic lights last no more than three minutes, making the fuel saved negligible. If you engage Neutral at every traffic light, you'll be subjecting the driveline to unnecessary shock when you re-engage Drive.

si autorandz hindi naman perfect yan, yung latest video nga nya head-scratcher hehe (about break in). but if you have good comprehension and some basic mechanical common sense then you'll be able to understand what he meant about the shifting habits on a/t. READ BETWEEN THE LINES! and don't take everything literally, then you'll see that what he's saying is mostly correct

designed ang car transmission to withstand 'normal' operating conditions. Isa na jan yung pag shift to neutral or to any other gears. The key here is the 'Potential' early wear and tear. Yes, potential lang. Enjoy your cars na lang, shifting to neutral or not is a driver's preference na lang in my opinion. If ever me impact man sa wear and tear its very negligible. Again they are designed to that specific operation. Kung makakasira yun, dapat may specific warning sa owner's manual about it.

Meron kaming kotse, AT yun. 15yrs in service, everyday workhorse. 350k+ ODO. Iba-iba naging driver nun, isama mo na yung mga hindi naman marurunong talaga sa AT, sanay lang magmaneho. Karamihan nga sa kanila kapag nakaipit sa traffic talagang di na tinatanggal sa D ang kambyo. Di ko sinasabing tama iyon, ang sinasabi ko eh kahit ganoon ang gawin nila eh wala naman naging problema. Talagang laspag yung kotse araw-araw. Until now, walang problema sa tranny. Di naman sumabog yung kotse sa gitna ng mala impyernong traffic sa Metro Manila.

May wigo kami at subokan ko mag start in every gear kasi yung push start may ilaw mag indicate ready to start yung P and N mag solid green ibig sabihin ready to start pero yung R,D,3,2 mag biblink yung green at paano nya ma sabi kahit naka D mag start... Baka sa mga lumang kotse mag start kahit hindi naka D?

Parang sinabi pa nga ni Scotty Kilmer in the context na “don’t shift to Neutral UNLESS it’s a lengthy stop in traffic.” Mukhang hindi na gets ni vlogger ang ibig sabihin ni scotty. Sa tagalog: “huwag na mag neutral PWERA na lang sa matagal na pagtigil sa traffic”.
