I wore low heels for my wedding & then flats for my reception. What I did for my something blue was part of a shirt that my great grandma & I made together when I was a kid since she passed away less than a year before my wedding

Wedding planning is so exciting! Invites going out always makes it feel so real! I wore satin ballet flats for my wedding (they were the shoes my mom wore at my parents' wedding- something old), and I have NO regrets. I would have died in heels. Also, I had a big full skirt, so no one ever saw the shoes.

Successful day! Wedding planning is so stressful, but the goal is to be married and if you are at the end of it all, it was a success. LOVE the idea of giving ties for a groomsman's gift! So, I got married 22 years ago...yikes I'm old...and I was the first of my friends that I know of to wear tennis shoes. It was a 'new' thing back then. Zero regrets on that. The only thing I wish is that it had been popular at the time so that I had options. I had to go get a pair of nurse's Reeboks because they were the only white shoes that were even remotely stylish at the time. I used them for my around the house cleaning shoes afterwards. All that to say...I don't think you will regret not wearing heels. If your dress is long, no one will see your shoes anyways and you will be a happier person. BUT, always do what makes you the happiest!! Congrats on your upcoming wedding.
