Very mind opening message that is so powerful. This is what I've learned from the message on Sunday throughout my notes. Revival is not just a superficial term used to identify one's purpose or vision; rather, it serves to ignite a renewed sense of passion and commitment among God's people. Through revival, believers are reminded of their calling to be salt and light in the world, to proclaim the gospel, and to make disciples of all nations. This renewal of purpose and vision leads to a unity among believers, as seen in the early church in Acts 2.

Revival that sustains in advance is indeed fortified in faith to serve those in need. This concept aligns with biblical teachings on the importance of faith and serving others. James 2:14-17 emphasizes the need for faith to be accompanied by actions, including helping those in need. Galatians 5:6 also emphasizes that faith works through love. Furthermore, revival that is sustained and fortified in faith often leads to a heart that is inclined towards serving others as Jesus exemplified in his ministry on earth. In Matthew 20:28, Jesus states that he came not to be served, but to serve others. This selfless attitude of service is a key aspect of a revival that is rooted in faith. Ultimately, a revival that is sustained and fortified in faith will naturally lead to a desire to serve others, as faith without works is dead (James 2:26). This holistic approach to revival emphasizes the importance of both personal faith and outward service to those in need.
