A woman from the Solomon Islands told me the villagers had an understanding with these redhead people that there are clear boundaries marked in the forrest and once a month in designated areas in the forest the villagers leave pigs tied up for meat for the large people so that they do not need venture into the villagers areas . Thus nobody encroachers on the territory of the other. That peace agreement is still being upheld even today in some areas.

My sister who was adopted out as a baby visited me a while back and we got talking about giants, ufo's and conspiracy topics. I told her that our country ( New Zealand) used to have giants which she knew but she took it one step further and bummed me out by informing me that we have descendants who were giants. I am Christian so you can imagine how totally unhappy I was to hear that. Incidentally she is 6" tall and still growing believe it or not. And I was 5'6" inches right up until I was 38 and then somehow grew 2 more inches which is pretty unusual I think

The Bulldozer wasn't thrown, they had taken the blade off, which weighs something ridiculous like 17 tons, then got the dozer on a flat bed and took it down the mountain to get it repaired. When they came back, the BLADE was gone, and following the giant tracks, they found the blade a good distance away in the jungle. The locals then refused to work there anymore. Keep in mind, they were stripping the surface to get to an ENORMOUS deposit of gold, so stopping that operation was highly improbable.

Hello guys! Love this podcast! I’m a native Texan but with Basque roots. We have a legend about giants and cyclopses. We call them “Jentil” Giants and “Tartalo” cyclops, legend says the Jentil would build giant neolithic monuments and lived along the basque people, but when the star appeared in the sky to show the birth of Christ , all cyclops and almost all giants threw themselves off the mountains or went underground into the earth. Only one giant remained in the among the basques, Olentzero, the only giant to except Christ. Olentzero is now part of our Christmas traditions, he is our version of Santa Claus.

I think every Native American tribe here in North America has tales and stories of the giants that existed. Im from utah and I recall tales from the paiute tribe of the red hair giants who were cruel and cannibalistic, meanwhile the navajo talk of the pale giants who were superior in mining and the dwelled within underground/cave system in the west where i heard from some tales that they hunted and trapped em in the caves or that the great creator (god) found them appalling and banished their existence. Either way, giants of some sort did exist wether these were perhaps people whom traveled there (like vikings whom were taller than average back then) or if these were types of people like a type of sub humanoid (like neanderthal) that existed among them.

Kakamoras are commonly known to be from the makira province in Solomon Islands but some provinces also have similar stories. They are known to be around 2 to 3 feet tall. They can carry very heavy objects easily but struggle with lighter objects. These are just some little more infos about the kakamora

The kakamora are known in EVERY Pacific island lore. Hawaii calls them menehune. I grew up to stories of Tagata I'm (fish people) aka mermaids. Samoa has a village in honor of a Giant named Moso. And I heard stories of these small people that traveled from island to island through underground tunnels. There was lots of myths that have common traits of other peoples from different parts of the world.
