I'm new to the phasmo game, and I was wondering if you could give me any useful tips for a new player, usually what I do during a game is grab my gear, and the key to the residence, and open the residence's front door, then I proceed to run and hide for 10 min then leave, lol.

Hahaha that’s the usual starter experience. But typically what you want to do first is find the ghost favorite room it’s gonna be colder than all the rest with the power on. From there that would be your best bet to collect evidence using the evidence items.

First thing is knowing where you can hide, from there set about getting the evidence. Starting on amateur gives you 5min from opening the front door until the ghost could hunt, this gives you time to find the ghost room and start collecting your evidence. To save more time you can take all your equipment to the front door before you open the door to save time.
