Totally relatable. I and my dad were on non-talking terms for 2 decades. And 2 years back he got paralysed when we were on vacation. I was not supposed to go on that trip but I think I was destined to accompany him at that time. Two years later he is still recovering and he insists that I must stay around him all the time, our bond has got stronger after that incident. I had just started uploading travel vlogs by then but this tragedy put all that to a halt.

My father was in ICU for 29 days due to multiple organ failure, finally doctors informed that there is nothing much they can do and by keeping him on life support system we are making him go through extreme pain. Took me 2 days to get enough strength to sign discharge consent letter, he paased away 30 mins after we reached home. It's been 12 years and i still feel i signed his death letter, maybe some miracle would have saved him... I wish and pray nobody does through this

He wasn't even there when I was born, cause he apparently said, 'All babies look the same anyways'... it must surely be wonderful to have a father, I will never know. I'm 20 now, and it still hurts somewhere deep inside every time someone talks about their father. Love your parents while they're still around, cause people like me don't even know what it feels like to have a father.
