I’m doing a Tim Burton inspired Christmas theme this year and was looking for a playlist that fits. Everything was too spooky and didn’t give dark Christmas, but this is it! I don’t necessarily look for horror, I want an imaginative, fantasy world where creativity takes over Christmas, in various unconventional ways. Turns out Tim Burton understands outcasts and projects them in the most enchanted way. The serenity of being distinct is charming.

@@amyhufton259 I'm not particularly writing him as a person off but the companies of which demonized he himself immediately within the trial only just starting year's back. It's an unfair part of how our society works in that a lot of us naturally unequivocally side with the female in cases like this because it's an extreme case, but both parties are no angles & amber is definitely off her rocker. She in my opinion will not be however lowered to Johnny's current position "Hollywood Film Chief" wise but she I think will suffer heavily with work. Johnny will gain a lot & quite frankly doesn't need to work another day in his life, so really I'm writing off societies views & decisions.

I wrote a short epilouge for my new novel, the story carries out about the father and his two sons living alone in the manor. One day they decide to adopt a third son. The story surrounds their lives in the late 1800 while dealing with some minor magic manors and traumatic experiences. Chapter one The beginning of the end There was nothing peculiar about the house on the end of longwater st. Except for the dark looming fences that kept the children away, the crows circling the area scavenging for golden treasure and the enormous house that stretched itself onto three stories painted in a dark almost black stone. Circular shaped windows with elegant curtains hiding the inside and rough ground around the house in a dirty black scene that made the onlookers turn away. Almost as if taken out of a movie the house looked. Like something you’d find in a Tim Burton movie perhaps. It looked more like a cemetery than a mansion with its overgrown nature and impressive lack of gardening. Green and white climbers climbing up the house and latching themself onto it like a parasite sucking blood from its host. Only now the climbers held on for their dear life as the wind screamed above them, trying to get them to let go. The impressiveness of the house didn’t just show because of the lack of life and a consistent theme of dark colors no, it told a story. A story of a young man falling in love. A writer he was, working on his first or second book. He had just moved into the city, falling in love with its architecture, nature and citisenze. One citizen in particular. Beatrice was a young dark haired painter. She liked green tea, playing chess and watching the rain race down a window. She also enjoyed train rides, especially long ones that go on for miles leaving her alone with a book in the rookery cart with nothing but the sound lulling her into her imagination, though she’d never admit that and accept defeat from the constant bickering she’d done as a kid whenever they went on one. She spent her days in the shimmering middle of the city, watching the people passing by while capturing them in her pieces. She never sold them. Just kept them tucked away in the corner of her childhood home, hiding from the eyes of outsiders. They met one chilly October day, the man of her life, Victor Williams and she; Beatrice Green and became inseparable. They hit it off instantly, it was almost too good to be true. Together they spent their days building a home in hopes of one day settling down. Money was never a problem for the two as Victor’s parents were great ambassadors of the glowing country, still they wanted their own work to be put into the place they’d call their home. They started out small, moving in together in a small apartment with an outlook on the city sky. They worked their jobs, earned their money and built their home. A few years later they got married in the old stone church by the east of the town. A small peaceful wedding consisting of no one but the closest of family members. It was a short ceremony. Simple vows and rings. Then they went. Carried away by the black horse carriage and taken to the place they would spend the rest of their lives in. Longwater manor

"Messages for mother" is a neat track. I've always been a fan of whimsical accordion and rattlesnake songs. The whistling wind gives it a nice atmospheric vibe as well. Reminds me of this time when I was 19 I spent a month being homeless in January in a town called Ashland in Oregon. Nice place, college town. There's a lake there called Emigrant Lake which sadly has been a little too dried up these past few years. But when I was homeless, I had been couch serfing and I unfortunately spent the night with a crazy lady who I did not feel safe sleeping with. Mostly because at the time I carried some very sharp objects including a short sword, a rather long and pointed knife and a hatchet, which she could easily use to kill me with. So one night I was forced to leave her place in fear of my life and had nowhere to go. It's about 15 or so miles to emigrant lake from the town of Ashland and i had left at around 9 or 10 at night. The weather had been bad and it rained off and on again. I unfortunately had the dimwitted idea to go to the lake and see if I couldn't stay there till the weather cleared. I figured nobody would be there seeing as how it's more if a summer activity area, and I wouldn't be bothered and could be left in peace. As I walked the longest walk of my life, it rained on and off and I had to stop and rest every now and then as my feet were in pain from tight, and soggy worn out boots. I only had a pair of faded jeans, a t-shirt, green knitted military style sweater and a grey tweed long coat that barely fit me. I also had a hat too but it was mostly wool which isn't necessarily rain proof. I remember I took shelter under a bridge that had a creek that flower underneath it. The creek was swollen due to the rain and flowed like a raging torrent, and because of the concrete the sound of the rapidly flowing water was amplified five times louder, I got no sleep and simply could only lay on rocks as spiders crawled over my head and hair and body. I heard sounds and only had the light of an iPod flashlight to shine into the darkness. I was paranoid that some desperate animal would try to harm me in order to seek shelter there too, so I left from under the bridge and walked to the lake. Finally around 2 in the morning I had reached the lake, the moon struggled to shine through the darkened storm soaked clouds and lit up the ground just enough to make the puddles of rain on the asphalt and grass seem fluorescent. As I reached the beach of the lake, so grey and pale white, the water was so dark that creatures could easily lurk beneath the surface and I'd be none the wiser, I sat down on the beach, determined to sleep and covered myself in my coat. I woke to the feeling of cold hard raindrops pelting me and a storm had rolled in while I slept. Tired, somewhat defeated and in total desperation I saw lights in the distance and decided I'd risk the wrath of somebody's inhospitality than suffer another minute being soaked to the bone in the rain and cold of a cold winters night. As I walked along the edge of the beach I followed a trail that led me up from the sandy beach and the ground raised above the water to form into a cliff of considerable hight, the sand turned to big rocks and as the rain came down, the feeble light my dying iPod gave off illuminated the path as I walked on, soon I found the path diverted from the crashing waves of an angry lake and went towards an area with over grown foliage and trees, and it was then that I had discovered that on a dark and stormy night, in a cold winter rain storm at the cliff side of a lake, there sat an old cemetery with crooked missy gravestones. I had never known there to be a cemetery at that lake and it was a rather spooky unpleasant surprise, my mind weakened restlessness played tricks on me, conjured up specters in the dark, shadows that whispered to me. Eerily lit by covered moonlight the graves l stood silently in rows, I saw an outhouse further ahead, found it to be unlocked and spent the entire night locked in a bathroom afraid to leave for fear of what might lay within that cemetery. I waited until the sun rose, the storm cleared by morning and I rushed my ass back to town, I havnt been back since then. This is a true story.

Ah... this helps me write my books so much. I def recommend this vid to anyone with real taste and props to the people who actually composed the music and stuff *poetic clapping* It doesn't make me regret making my books the way they are: two love birds seperated by a world filled of fear, magic, and monsters

when I was a little kid I watched all the movies, and I was scared of many. It got to the point of crying not wanting to watch it. But after I saw everything I was delighted. thank you Tim, I cried a lot but soon after I understood the magic of his works

I usually listen to really fast-paced, crazy music when I write because my brain is so busy that I need something to match its energy...but after a really hard day at work and feeling emotionally exhausted, this was perfect for a 4am writing session. Thank you!

His film music always makes me nostalgic for some reason. Like when I hear the opening Oboe part in Nightmare Before Christmas, I feel this deep painful longing in my soul for something I'm not even sure of.
