Part 3/3 - Band sawmill at Emil's Bergsgården - Trak-Met TTP600 Standard with hydraulic

Now it's time to saw some logs at the band sawmill for the small-scale farm.
Emil at Bergsgården shows and tells us how he saws boards and studs, how the computer, or the digital calibrator as it's also called, is programmed.
He also gives us a demonstration of the hydraulics, such as the top lift and log turner.
He tells us more about the flow in the sawmill and how he built the sawmill house.
This is the final part of three where we have been given a thorough review of the Trak-Met TTP600 Standard band sawmill with hydraulics.

Det kommer nog bli bra. Även om budgeten var satt lägre från början så känns det trots allt okej med detta. Nästa utmaning är att lära oss hantera det på ett bra sätt.

@@sundhult Ja, är ju inte bara ett såg som ska på plats, gäller ju att få till flödet. Man behöver ju inte göra allt direkt, viktigaste är ju att man inte målar in sig i ett hörn. Blir kul att se hur det blir! 😃

Ja det var 3st väldigt intresanta filmer om bandsågverk. Betydligt lyxigare än min solosåg men jag sågar ju bara till mig själv och nån kompis. Förstår ju att med den bandsågen ska man sälja virke men det gäller att ha tid också, mycke jobb med att hugga och köra hem stockarna och såga. Logistiken runt sågen är väldigt viktig för det är där det tar mesta tiden, viktigt att ha gott om utrymme.

Vi får se hur mycket legosågning det blir. Det lär nog bli en del till grannarna i bygden tänker jag. Flera av delägarna i Solskensfarmarna har egen skog bland annat.

​@@sundhult ja det är ju ett bra sätt, då får dom komma med stockarna till er så behöver ni bara såga. Spännande framöver att få se hur ni ställer upp bandsågen och såghuset. Det känns som att man vill ha tak över den bandsågen. Min solosåg står helt öppen, sågar inte när det regnar och jag bär in den under tak när jag sågat klart för året.
