Thank you for the song, you did really well. (I was just thinking maybe being so young and maybe even American I was thinking maybe you don't know what the lyrics "I'm feeling better when I'm feeling no pain" means... In the seventies it was a common idiom for people to say I'm feeling no pain... It's a reference to being intoxicated... If someone is drunk they might say: "they're feeling no pain"... Your senses are numbed by the booze so you're feeling no pain and sorta euphoric. You might very well have known this already but like I say You are young and probably American I was afraid it might have been lost on you and that be ashamed because you performed it so well. So thank you again for and I hope you appreciate my $0.02.

I appreciate it very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for some insight on the lyrics, I love digging deep and finding the true meaning of certain lines in songs. Gordon was a great lyricist for sure!

The euphemism feeling no pain means being intoxicated... Just so everyone understands...
