In my opinion the game plan from Chiefs was to apply a mid block and allow Sundowns to play from the back and hope to catch them on a counter.....it worked but Sundowns equalized and took the lead in the very first half. Mind you Chiefs only had corners after Coach Manqoba substitutions they we now confident that they they can press Sundowns and force them to make mistakes that's when Chiefs seemed like playing.

As a Pirates supporter, I'm glad that we dropped out of the competition early because it's long overdue for Pirates to concentrate on winning the league and possibly CAF as well. Pirates' dominance in domestic cup competitions each season plus their campaign in Africa makes it difficult for them to ever win the league because playing too many games contributes to fatigue and injuries. Sundowns wins the league every season because they don't go far in cup competitions, hence they can concentrate their resources on the league. I give this one to Chiefs, let them go all the way to the final to win it.
