condolences melvin from east Baldamore. i instantly crumbled when i had to read on the behalf of my cousins when my aunt passed. Great episodes making jokes in the time of tragedy. I'm bias but i like the jokes and good dialogue of this episode, i can watch you emmanuel and Rome all day, cam is very calm and mature and doesn't joke around like that anymore and it throws off the comedy aspect in the comedy trap house, but i get it where in our 30S now and gotta switch it up. been a fan for 10 plus years. keep going y'all

Assassins creed origins took place in Egypt, you played as an Egyptian man. Historically accurate for the time, as the Greek had been in charge by that point. People complained about playing as him, even though we’re talking about Africa. Watch dogs 2 is another Ubisoft title and the 2nd game had you playing as a young black man who’s a master hacker. They hated on that too. There’s a weird subset of people online who just don’t want to play as black people in any capacity or context. It’s crazy because I can’t think of a time of black gamers complaining when almost every well known game protagonist of the last 20 years has been a white man lol. Also Japanese people love the history behind Yasuke and there have been a lot of fake trolls online translating their hate into Japanese to appear as a Japanese person, that’s how serious they are.

To Marvins point if I’m not mistaken and please correct me if I’m wrong I think he’s 100% spot on about a lot of the things he said about assassin‘s Creed and about a lot of the upheaval over the current assassin’s Creed coming out in November however, there’s one thing right don’t agree with him on and maybe I didn’t listen to him all the way Assassin Creed has made lead characters if I’m not mistaken three games ago it was said in Egypt and the main character was black please somebody correct me if I’m wrong but assassin’s Creed has made black characters before majority of them or white, but they’ve made Native American characters as wellas Persian, the majority of assassins are white, they have made a few that are different races and nationalities, including black

I believe AC will feature multiple playable characters, and I believe that was clearly indicated. If so, the problem isn't that the main character is black, it's that a black main character is an option. Also, while I cannot speak for a country, gamer shit is the perfect place to open up this topic. American toxicity is a poison that affects the entire world. Gamers in other countries pick up the horrible things we do here bc the US is big, loud, and rocks the crowd.

There are two main characters for new assassin's Creed. Yasuke, the samurai aspect, and an original Japanese female character who is going to be the actual assassin. Also, a lot of these dudes are being flat out racist. I've seen plenty of actual valid takes, but I've also seen so many racist memes, posts, and replies. They also have done an AC in Egypt (AC Origins)
