This is a complicated movie with several layers. A stellar cast as well with Balraj Sahni playing an antagonist (which I have never seen before). The movie is full of surprises but overall, it fails to connect. In particular, I found Vyjayathimala's character confusing and the script a little bizarre. The acting is spot on - Dililp Kumar, Vyjayathimala, Balraj Sahni, Jayant, Sulochana, Durga Khote and a young Sanjeev Kumar have strong roles and well-written lines. Songs are very average
