Yujunnie Welcome Back!!! Our Minjae, i can see competitiveness from his eyes 🤣he look like he want to play some games more than just sit and study 😂 Jinsik is my spirit animal, when in class i want to flip the table like him so bad. As expect from our Gangneung hot polite boy Hyunwoo. His obsession with hierachy and anime suit this episode so much. Hunter keep character as a flower boy from previous episode, but i will not complain anything. Yechan keep praising and Seeun keep take care of Yujunnie is the best part of this ep. they love eachother so much 🥲 Junmin and Hyunwoo chemistry is something i never know i want. they remind me of my friend who always be naughty.

0:38 I lost count of how many times Minjae repeated 나랏〮말〯ᄊᆞ미〮 듀ᇰ귁〮에〮달아〮 😂😂😂 --------------------- TRIVIA: Minjae is reciting the first words to the preface of the "Hunminjeong-eum" (Middle Korean: 훈〮민져ᇰ〮ᅙᅳᆷ, Yale: HWÙN.MÌN.CYÉNG.QÙM), a Joseon-era royal document that promulgated what is now known as the Korean alphabet (한글 han-geul / 조선글 chosŏn'gŭl). In particular, the phrase that Minjae was reciting came from a version of the "Hunminjeong-eum" called the "Hunminjeong-eum eonhae", which was simply the version written in Middle Korean (the original was in Classical Chinese). "Middle Korean" refers to the older version of the Korean language dated sometime between the 11th and 16th centuries which includes the Joseon era. Roughly translated into English, the phrase that Minjae kept on repeating means "Because the speech of this country is different from that of the Middle Nation [i.e. China]..." He is also pronouncing the phrase in the modern Korean way, although Middle Korean has some slightly different pronunciation rules based on language reconstructions in Korean studies. Transcribed, albeit in an incorrect manner (the Yale romanization is the one used for Middle Korean), the pronunciation is somewhat like: "Nah-rahs-mǎhl-ssuh-mee tyoong-kooy-guhy-tahl-ɣah", where the "ǎ" is an "ah" pronounced slightly longer than the other vowels and the "ɣ " is pronounced by constricting air flow by letting the back of your tongue touch the soft palate (in other reconstructions, this sound is not included). The transcription in Yale is: "nàlá-s mǎlssòm-í TYÙNG.KWÚYK-éy tàlGá" (Yale transcriptions of Sino-Korean syllables are in all caps). Basically, the final ㅅ (s) is pronounced as /s/, not as a silent consonant as in modern Korean, and the diphthongs are pronounced as written (i.e. combining the vowel sounds of the original vowel letters from which it is derived). But there are still other sounds in Middle Korean that are already obsolete in modern Korean. Middle Korean has some slightly different writing rules, including letters that are originally promulgated in the "Hunminjeong-eum" but are now obsolete in the modern Koreanic languages (except the letter "arae-a" or · which persists in the Jeju language). Also, you may have noticed the one or two dots preceding some of the syllables; these represent pitch contours (unmarked - low pitch; one dot - high pitch; two dots - rising pitch, i.e. pitch gliding low-to-high, and pronounced slightly longer). These are not true tones (as in Chinese, Thai etc.) but are more like intonations or pitch-accents. These are also obsolete in modern Korean. Disclaimer, I'm definitely not an expert on this, but I was just enthusiastic about the Korean language that I tried learning Middle Korean 😂😂😂
