Honestly, the only good thing was the music imo. I was born in the 80s, and I'm glad to be in today. Of course, I was basically raised on technology, so early exposure made me allergic to times with little of it (Atari when I was six months and older--I wouldn't believe it if not for the pictures--computer when I was nine, internet when I was eleven). There wasn't even the charm of a hopeful future of advancements like in the 1950s. About the only thing I liked was my Teddy Ruxpin.
