Sir you wrote the bernoulli between 1 and 2 thus the calculated V was also for point 2 .. but you used it for choke area velocity. How?

sir we can consider is at average velocity because if u multiply (ht^(1/2) + ((ht-hm)^1/2)) above and below we got ((vmax + vmin)/2)

Sir, In 32nd prblm, datum height is greater than 200 mm. In Top Gate u said that datum height is preferred to be less than 200 mm to avoid erosion. In that case we should consider the prblm as Bottom Gate and we would still have all the data required to solve the prblm. Please explain..

Sir, I'm little bit confused why did you take P2 = 0, the weight of the molten metal in the pouring basin must have exerted a pressure on the sprue opening.... plz tell if I'm doing something wrong

the pouring basin has a very little height ,hence pr due to small column is neglected
