what if the first tank experiences outgoing flow on the left hand side? Does the analysis changes?

Excuse me sir, how does a pump (&Q) connected to the bottom of tank 1 through the valve of linear resistance R1 will influence the formula of R1? And also what about if the pipe after R1 take a height H to get to tank 2 ? Thank you!
