Moving forward with new music yes for sure. I was at this gig though and whilst he plays awesome he couldn't do what Luke did on the old songs. The guitar sound was different. Good but not as good.

Yeah, “lift” was Ro’s worse song & “starved” was the bands worse song. “Starved” sounds too rushed now & too many backing tracks are being played. Luke & Ro have fairly different techniques aswell, 1tech isn’t necessary better then other, just different & u can do different things with them. Ro prefers to alternate pic with his wrist (same as James root,slipknot) & Luke prefers to downpick chug with his forearm. Clearest example is intro to lift, Ros swiveling his thumb & index up & down while Luke is down picking each note with a chug, it has a bigger sound. Some argue downpicking is cleaner & more “metal”(I have seen Luke alternate pic lift intro,channel v using a Wah pedal). It’s not just Luke’s playing but his songwriting I’ll miss. I like Ro, it wouldn’t have been easy, he did have help with backing guitar tracks which can add to the live experience , basically like 2guitar players on stage

Looking forward to the new album. This song is better than any of the younger "core" bands at the moment. It's interesting, I always thought of Sunk Loto as heavy rock or nu metal band. This song just sits in "metalcore". Love the cleans, most of the newer core bands the cleans are just so whiny and overproduced.
