Rw9 is so insanely good at Rocket League... To keep track of 15 other gold players, dodging their demos, then placing the ball in the top corner, it's unreal. As someone who is a gold, I do think that rw9 was very respectful to my fellow goldies. He wasn’t doing anything too flashy or toxic and was trying to make it fun for both teams. Even when there were only a few golds, he didn’t go for any really flashy shots, he just did what was necessary to get the ball in the net. RW9 the goat of defence 🐐

This video perfectly shows how just defending in ranked will get you to at least gold. When I couldn't even score easy open goal shots, I was gold only because I defended while my 2 teammates 90% of the time, both went into the corner totally leaving us vulnerable to a counter attack. I have seen so many gold players that have crazy good offensive mechanics but are handless when it comes to defense and positioning. NO I MUST KEEP CHASING BALL!

the difference I found is that when Epic bought the game and added SSL, everyones' rank went up by one. I stopped playing after Epic bought the game and came back to Diamonds being way behind mechanically than I remember. So the comparison you'd be looking for more would be high gold to low plats against 1 player. I agree that the player base mechanics in high MMR is way better than it use to.

Either the golds have been told to hold back or they are faster, more mechanical, and harder to score on in EU servers. What I have seen in casual play, their air control is insane. I would say the goals 4, 8, 12, and 14 would not be saved by them, but straight long shot would definitely not go in.
