Yeah it's hard even when they send a performance video to the show so they can plan the camera shots and moves and then send it back to the artist. She's a professional and nobody can deny that just look at how she changes her expressions and sings the important parts of the song and catches her breath on sub-vocals but still lip-sync them. The Sirens were beautiful but dangerous creatures that lured the sailors with their beautiful voices to their doom, causing the ships to crash on the reefs near their island. So, I think it’s a double meaning; however, the main theme is the mythological cousin of the mermaid: sirens! The music video has many ocean/underwater motifs- there’s an underwater backdrop during a lot of the dancing scenes, there’s a room in the house where Sunmi is dressed in mermaid-like clothes and it looks like it’s underwater.
