I went to the theatres to watch this movie. I was thirteen at that time. I was addicted to this movie, the songs, and of course to Aditya. This made me realize what love and attraction felt like. This whole thing was so magical, and a bit naive as well. But now that I've grown older, I have realized that this movie has so much more to offer rather than just being a love story. This sheds light on a topic we tend to ignore and try to forget: alcoholism, drug addiction, depression etc. are all medical conditions, they don't need an excuse to grow inside you (unlike what many others tend to think, no, it's involuntary) and no amount of love, affection or attention can help you get rid of it. One has to seek medical treatment and get professional help. The only thing we can do for them is to show some empathy to them and give them motivation instead of discouraging or frowning down upon them.
