The last time I listened to this first time was as a teenager in Ibadan. I am in New York now and danced around the house like I am losing my friggin mind lol. That voice is from the upper heavens no doubt about that.

EgbaAlake, you never disappoint. Where did you get the Late Oginni piece? Wow, l was a boy of 8 in Lagos when this was released. I remember seeing Chief S.B. Bakare in Lagos after the demise of Chief Oginni. @03:15 "Ladejola o, omo Oginni", l never thought l will hear this track again in my lifetime. Gov. Adebayo was governor of Western State, and Mobolaji Johnson was the governor of Lagos State during this era. Hah, those were promising times, the sky was the limit for Nigeria and Nigerians. Whatever altered the trajectory of the nation did a major disservice to a once shining star of Africa. Nigeria of today 01.06.2021 is a sad one, the abounding misery brings tears. I believe that God in His infinite Mercy will get the country out of the present mess. God bless Nigeria. Long Live Nigeria!!!

Ijebu omo alare, alare, ejaka se lakaye ki ama ba ijebu ja. Emi ti ba Jebu rin mo mowa Ijebu bo tiri.....Ijebu omo alare o, oye ka fi ife ma ba jebu looo. Is another lyric of another song of that era. I don't know if that's Ayinde Bakare. You are adept at this, so l will leave it to you. Just in case you can find it somewhere. Thank you in advance.
