I was a 15 year old freshman in high school, living in Seattle then. Life was so real and alive then. Before social media, before 911, before convid 19, and Seattle was the mecca for music. 75 cents would get you an all day buss pass to explore the city and if you had five bucks in your pocket the world was yours

I was a freshman then, too. Lived in Kirkland but caught the 255 every weekend to spend what little cash I had at Fallout and Cellophane Square. Pretty sure I saw SDRE’s first show in ‘94 at the Redmond YMCA.

If that date (Dec 3, 1994) is correct, this was at Emo's in Austin, TX.

doesn’t quite look like Emo’s, the date might be wrong

@@zodismegalame I checked their concert history and in Dec 3 of 1994 they did a concert at a place called The Bottleneck, in Lawrence, Kansas, USA. If you google that and check the pictures you'll find it looks similar to the location in the video.

Radiohead is one for sure, smashing pumpkins2, all the new whining emo bands that are doing a great injustice to the creators of a genre that was non existent. SDRE=MINDBLOWING, SUFFERING, JOY,HEARTBREAK ,PAIN,LOVE, HATE, RESPONSIBILITY,LOYALTY, RESPECT,FORGIVENESS

@@pineapplecircus SDRE is just unique, and the other band is just making their own styles, they're not that bad.

@@laurencezemlick1979 as well as smashing pumpkins, which started out as a goth band anyways. They definitely didn’t need sunny day real estates influence
