Not going to lie, this is my favorite Pink Floyd guitar solo. There's just something about it that makes it unique compared to anything else Gilmour has done. And I'm not talking about the chewing noises.

Side note: this has made me sob with a lot of feelings over time, and I’m glad Gilmore could express something so deep and meaningful to others to hear.

The wall doesn't really even compete with the sound they had on Meddle and Atom Heart Mother. if the wall is your favorite album because you've heard a lot of the discography than i get that, but this... this is magic.

I couldn’t agree more, I remember digging deeper into Pink Floyd’s music years ago and coming across this song and just tearing up. I remember thinking that this is exactly the Pink Floyd I had been dreaming of hearing. I still feel like this song specifically, along with _Atom Heart Mother_ in its entirety, is the quintessential peak of their sound. Just pure bliss, with a hint of the psychedelic themes the band is known for. I don’t know what it is, but everything about _Atom Heart Mother_ is just too perfect, from the beautifully simple cover art to the incredibly mellow, comforting atmosphere. Sunny Side Up is probably the most peaceful piece of music I’ve ever heard. It’s just phenomenal. It makes me want to go and live a simple, peaceful life in a world akin to that within the album art. Living in a wooden cabin in the middle of the beautiful, green rolling hills and mushroom inhabited grass fields that just go on forever in the sunlight. I could go on forever about the beauty of this album, but I’m already rambling haha.

Atom Heart Mother is my fave Floyd album (even though the band apparently didn’t like it or enjoy making it). Great cover. It conjures the wonderful ness of early 1970s Britain, esp the summers, when we still had all the elm trees.

Yes sir! I most certainly did. To be completely honest it brought a little tears to my eyes. I had went to a festival around mid summer of last year to see a floyd cover band. They played great gig along with many others in their three hour set. Even then it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for bringing back those memories. Floyd has always been there for me through good times and bad times and always will be there. Your channel is by far my favorite! Looking forward to jamming along with each new post!
