Would you recommend this to a first time rider? It seems like a small bike but I imagine it's a lot of power to start with. I love the aesthetics and noise of the Speed Twin 900

Sounds great. Is that a Triumph bench seat and does it make much difference to the ride height and comfort?

It's the Viper seat by Motone. I find it pretty comfortable, but hard to say how it compares to stock since it was the first mod I did - it's been a while now!
