I'm crushed. Here I was thinking I've been living in "Australia" for the past 50 years or so. Now I'm having work out "where am I?" and, maybe more crucially, "WHO am I?" I mean, if the house I live in that I always believed to be in Australia is not in fact in Australia, I am having to adjust to a life in a non-existing place, nor can I go on pretending to be an Australian citizen because one cannot be a citizen of a country that isn't actually there, obviously.
